Morning Ride
I went for a ride this morning at 5:30. It felt good getting up that early. I have lots of work to put in to get to where I want to be. Like they say, Blood Sweat and Tears. Nothing more, nothing less.

I took Baby out for my first ride last night. I now know how to work the gears so I will have the time of my life riding.

NEW BABY!!
Today I brought home my new baby. I can't wait to get started with rolling out and putting time in the saddle. I know I have a lot of hard work to do but I am ready. Ready for Blood, Sweat & Tears!!

Yoga

Bringing It Strong
Today makes day 3 that I have been working out, and I must say, I am in pain...but I love it. I slept through my alarm this morning so my cycle ride didn't happen...but I did get my work out on. Lets hope tomorrow morning I can get that ride in.

Chest - Back - Abs
I worked my chest, back and abs today. I feel great. I must stick to the wicket now...there is No turning back. I must do this for myself! One day at a time.
Starting Over...AGAIN!!
Ok, so I am starting over again. I CAN NOT and WILL NOT give up on my dream of losing weight. I am officially at my heaviest....215lbs *groan* That's what happens when I am not active.

A NEW START
Ok, so here I am, starting all over again. I took the bike out for a little spin to shock my legs and lungs, just a wee bit.
I rode a distance of 2.48miles in 21mins 37secs. The cadence isn't working on my pc so I need to have it checked out (I connected the pc on my bicycle myself) at the store.
It was a nice first ride in a while. I will set up my weights in the living room to start my P90X in the morning.

Sigh
Ok, so I make it to my destination, full of anticipating doing some P90X while on holiday. WRONG ANSWER!! The room is not big enough to do a jumping jack, let alone P90X.
Breakfast consisted of mini bite pancakes and hash browns, along with apple fries and an orange juice from Burger King. The portions were just right so there was no over eating. Dinner was a small piece of steak (yes, I am still giving up red meat), potatoes, and a salad.
Lets hope tomorrow brings better choices. I WANT AND NEED SOME FRUIT!!

Vacation
Today I go on vacation and I am hoping to eat healthy while there. I will be in London and my plan is to have fruit first thing in the morning before eating anything else. There will be lots of walking so that should help to shed a few pounds.
I hate that I have let 'things' deter my progress but I WILL NOT GIVE UP! I am not looking for a quick fix but a lifestyle change. A change that results in optimum health.

Oh Yeah
Went to the gym today and I'm feeling great. Tomorrow morning I will go for a cycle ride as my job has me getting out of bed for an early morning (3:30 am) flt. Let's hope I can stick to the wicket and play through.

Set Back
The cleanse did not go according to plan. I really have an issue with swallowing pills. I still have some pills left and I will continue to take the rest starting tomorrow. I also need to get better at eating at least 3 meals a day so that I can get rid of the left over pills. Most days I found myself eating once or twice a day and that is not good.
I can't and won't let myself down. Tomorrow morning its to the gym which means I have to get all of my laundry done...TODAY!

Day 3 Colon Cleanse
I am SLOWLY getting used to taking these 6 pills 1/2hr before every meal. The tea I take at night is very tasty. The results in the morning are bountiful...thanks Cutie.
The day has started out pretty slow. I find myself going to bed much earlier than usual because of the fact that I am working out in the sun (yes I wear a cap). I am enjoying being out there but I need to get me a small cooler today so that I can put my water, sandwiches and fruit in it. Eating is a challenge these days, especially when I work 0900-1800hrs.
I must fuel my body so that I can get maximum power. I think I will go for a ride later on today.

Day 2 Of Colon Cleanse
Well, the tea that I am drinking works like it should. I am going to have to get up much earlier in the mornings so that I can let the tea do what it has to do to my body and not interfere with the rest of my day.

Day 1 Of The Colon Cleanse
Today I started my cleansing program and I must say, I am not too happy about taking 6 pills. I am not one for taking pills easily and it took me a whole bottle (1.5 litres) of water to get them down. Its a good thing the cleansing program is only for 10 days and something I will do twice a year.

Cleansing
Tomorrow I start my colon cleanse. I will take measurements of various parts of my body and I will also weigh myself. The cleanse is a 10day cleanse and while doing it I can not have any dairy products, caffeine, or red meat. Not having any red meat is good because I have stopped eating it...again. I was doing really good a few years back...hadn't eaten any red meat for years. Caffeine, well, I have cut back on soda so I should be ok there. Dairy, no problem either...looking forward to getting rid of the mess that is stuck to the walls of my colon.

Grind
Ok, I am back on the grind. I just came in from a 47min 41sec walk and I am feeling great. My body, especially my knee's were not too happy but they need to get used to it. I can't stop now that I have started. Tomorrow morning I want to go to the gym and work on my legs.

Yesterday/Today
Nothing went according to plan yesterday or today. Day before yesterday I worked all day from 9am and didn't finish until 11:30pm. To add insult to injury, I had to be at my 2nd job at 12noon. My intention was to get up at 5am and make my way to the gym...no such luck as I slept right through my alarm, turning it off in my sleep.
Today, I can say that all of my laundry is done so I have no excuse tomorrow before heading to my second job at noon day. Today I had a protein shake. I will have an apple a little later and something decent for dinner.

I have been slow out of the starting blocks but I am still in the race. Today I had an apple for breakfast and it will be followed by a protein shake. My dinner is packed and ready to take to work. All I need now is to cut up some carrots to take as a snack.

Yesterday and Today
Yesterday was ok. I had a protein shake for breakfast and then I went grocery shopping. I got some fruit and salad fixings along with some other goodies. I was hoping to get some exercise in but that was a bust.
Today doesn't look good for exercising either but I am on my way to get a protein shake and fix my food for work tonight. I will be having chicken, rice and corn.
I so need to make things right so that I do not fall into a slump. I am hating the way things are right now. I know I have the power to change them...and I will. God give me the strength I need to make it happen.

Wow!
Mercy, its been too long since I have been here. So, let me update. Exercise has been non-existant and I have balloned to my heaviest and I am so NOT happy about it. Time to get my butt in gear and stay there. A trip to the grocery store is in order so that the house can be replenished with healthy food. I will be back later today with how my day has gone, what I ate and whether or not I exercised. Until then, be at peace.

And I'm Back!!
Ok, so I have been delinquent with my exercise but I am back. I started my P90X over again from day 1 and I feel good. Tomorrow is Plyo day and that kills me to no end. The Ab Ripper X is also a killer but I do what I can and hope to see improvement in due course.
Saturday I went to an 8am spin class and that got the heart beating and the motivation going. Its a bit hard but I love it.
So, for now I say Ta-Ta until next update.

Its Been A Stretch
It has been a stretch since I've blogged. I must admit that I did slack up on my training since the super bowl. I have started my P90X program and I am on day 2. All I can say is that it is a WORK OUT like I've never experienced. I hope to get to the gym today to work on my lower body. Got to get the legs in gear.

One Day At A Time
On Friday I worked out at the gym and had a great time, however, I neglected to complete my resolution on the Jillian Michael's Ultimate 2010. I did however complete it today.
It is the Super Bowel today so I must not overdo it on the food. I feel like going for a ride...I will see how I feel.

YES!!
Today I worked my legs...I warmed up for 20minson the bike then went and did:
4 sets of 10 Seated Leg Curls using 30lbs
4 sets of 10 Leg Extensions using 30lbs
4 sets of 20 Seated Leg Press using 70lbs
Then it was back on the bike for 20mins
I am feeling great!!!

Whew!!!
This morning I worked my Arms, Back and Chest with The Beast. I so didn't want to get up this morning. I was ready for the workout to end before it began. I have a long day ahead of me at work today. I go in at 9am and will probably finish around 10:00pm tonight. I'm glad I got my workout in though.

Jillian Michaels Ultimate Workout
I have decided to do a bit of Jillian Michaels Ultimate Workout until I start my P90X program. That woman is a beast I tell you. I need to get some bands for my P90X workout. After previewing the exercises, I know that I have a long road ahead of me because of my present condition...and what is that you may ask. Well, I am so unfit that it may take me doing the program 3 times to get the results I am looking for but I will not be deterred.

Saturday
Today has been a busy day. I had planned to get up at 5:00am to do laundry but didn't get to start until 6:45am. To be honest, a ride at 5:00am would have been perfect...maybe next time huh!! No matter how busy the day got or how tired I got I had to get some form of exercise in...sooo, what did I do? I found a show on the tele that would keep my attention, climbed on the bike and away I went. I did a whole hour...yippe!!! I wonder if my leg will protest in the morning when I go to get up for work.

Hmmm
I am enjoying my work outs thus far. No stress headaches and thats a good thing. I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring but I am looking forward to each day ahead of me. I am keeping my eye on the prize, which is a weight loss of 50lbs by Sept. 1st.
Day 3
Yesterday was a rest day for me. This morning I was going to get up at 5am and go for a ride but I kept hitting the snooze button...sooo, my workout will take place in the house. The bike is on the trainer so I will ride while watching an hour show on the tele.
Ok, so I rode for 40mins, not the 1hr I was hoping to do. Maybe next time. I have a long way to go to reach my goal but I will not quit. I am feeling good after my ride, not sure how my legs feel about the ride though.

Day 2
Today was another good day. I did some cardio as well as weights for my legs. I have decided that cycling will be my exercise of choice and I need to get my leg muscles in gear. I can't wait to see some progress...soon come, soon come.

Day 1
Today I went to the gym and did 1/2hr on the tread mill and 1/2hr on the cycle. I am on a bid to lose 50lbs by September 1st 2010. I will be going to the gym and cycling when the weather is good. I have reduced my portion sizes and am cutting down/out fried foods and soda.
